First off, I apologize for the less than great photos....but there were deer all over the floor so I made the best of it. I did not score the deer but my taxidermists son scored it at 181. Main beams were almost 27 inches and the long brow tine was just under 10 inches. Once the antlers are off the head I'll probably score it out of curiosity. Pictures do not do it justice as there is no real reference to truly appreciate the size. It will definitely net B&C. It is a bow kill from Fairfax, VA (a suburb of DC outside the beltway that has some pockets of woods and big homes) that doesn't allow any gun hunting (except for a few special permits). I have seen several big deer come out of Fairfax that were over 170 gross, but this one is probably the biggest typical I have personally seen.

Pile of 2016 VA deer kills (one or two are from out of state.. but mostly Northern VA)

We call it a 10 point as well, but 5x5 is more descriptive grin
