I have hunted family land surrounded by the Davy Crockett National Forest and am not seeming to have much luck. Had some good bucks on the trail camera during bow season and but now am not seeing anything during the day. Got a couple good pictures of a few bucks but nowhere near feeders. Feel free to post advice or tips!

That's always the case in East Texas once they learn so many are after them. And last week's full moon didn't help either. We're getting into the weeks that separate the die hard hunters from those who would rather be sitting in an easy chair watching football.

Lots of acorns still on the ground too.

My 2 cents say's the weather is wrong,moon is/was wrong,we are just now leaving a waning moon and going into a waxing moon,I WONT HUNT A WANING MOON,record crop of acorn's,till it rain's and some cold weather to sour the acorn's,the deer wont come to feeder very much,they know where the feeder's are at,to much pressure right now they will go nocturnal.That's my 2 cent's

How many hunters around you on Nat'l forest land? And acorns is the reason they aren't hitting feeders. Hunt their food source and most likely after this coming week when things usually slow down in the nat'l forest you might start seeing more.

I'm hunting in the middle of a hardwood flat with acorns everywhere and I'm just now getting noticeable amounts of corn eaten. I think they are still on acorns

Same here with acorns everywhere. Very few deer are on camera at night and not much daytime activity. Before acorns started dropping deer were everywhere. They'll be back.
