I have been so busy the last three week that I don't recall if I left feedback on my second time hunting Texas. The hunt started off in Medina Texas for a few hunts, we saw a couple nice fallow and several whitetail but not what we were looking for. We went over to the other ranch in Yancey. We had some really nice 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old bucks around us eating grass. Late in the hunt we finally had one of the bucks that we were looking for roughly 100 yards away. The buck stayed in that general area for a good while. As light started to fade we got lucky and the buck started heading our way. By the time he was broadside he was less than 7 yards away from our deer stand. My Mathews No Cam HTX with NAP spitfires Max did the job and I harvested a very unique 14 point whitetail. I was also able to harvest my doe on the same day. The food was great and the ranch was first class. I can't wait to go back. Next year I will be visiting S&D Whitetails in Zephyr and then La Contessa in Medina for whitetail hunting. If I had the time or resources, I would be back hunting with them this year.

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.
