Starting to pick up a little at our place. Everything is hitting the feeders sporadically. Some are pretty regular. We still have not seen any rut activity.

Secede!!

Hunted last weekend north of archer city. Saw two small bucks, both came to feeder but neither ate they were definitely on the hunt for does. Wouldn't say the rut was on but did seem like pre rut activity few diffrent bucks on cam at night also. Bachelor groups are all split up as of about 2 weeks ago. Opening day of rifle ought to hit about right a little cooler weather would probably help things to.

Aim small, miss small.

Have a place just south of Holliday. Cams from last weekend are showing a lot more day time movement then past years (buck and doe), but have not been observing them first hand. Trying to disturb my area as little as possible til November 5th
