Busy evening here in the yard. Had a 9 point and a 5 point knocking horns, a mob of does and several fawns of varied ages. Oldest fawn is out of the spot phase. Youngest was apparently brand new - tiny and spotted. I swear that the 9 point's neck looked swollen. It can't be time for the rut yet.

Deer in or around the yard are great to watch anytime of the year, but when the rut gets close it is even better.
