I'm looking at a lease between Throckmorton and Seymour Tx. I've never hunted that area and wanted some input on the quail and deer population out there. I travel through there once a week and see plenty of deer from the highway but haven't heard any reports on quail numbers. I had a thread in the open hunting section but it was moved to the upland section. I wanted to hear from some deer hunters on the quail populations they were seeing this year in Throcmmorton county. Thanks!

I'm not far from there and we have seen more quail this year than any I can remember. Deer populations are good in that area.
