BIL has been pumped up about these new game cameras he just bought. They are Browning cameras and very small in size from what I'm used to. Not certain of the exact model, but does anyone have any experience with that name brand? I'm in need of a few new cams.

I have ran a few of the browning cameras in the past. They are good cameras and lasted me about 3 seasons. Haven't gone back to them though but it wasn't because of performance, just started using some other cameras.

Cameras are a crap shoot IMO. I have good luck with some and horrible luck with others. I won't spend over $150 on a camera anymore though. Actually have had worse luck with the high dollar ones and been more disappointed in them.

I've got 4 of the Browning Recon Force 8mp cameras, they've worked great for the last 2-3 years. Over the years I've used almost every brand, and the Browning brand cameras have really impressed me with their performance. I think I paid $89 or $99 for each of them online.

Have the Browning Strike Forces and they are best bang for your buck IMO. I also have Browning black OPS and I wouldn't take another one of those for free.

Look at this site, great technical reviews on many TC's. They aren't as cheap as some sights, but you get a SIMM card plus and extra 12 month warranty'

BTW, The new 2015 Browning's had a software glitch early on (see post in Hunting gear section) but that has been fixed with a free update.

Thanks guys. Looking at your link Mr Western it appears the Strike Force is the ones he bought. I'll have to tell him about the glitch.

I bought a Strike Force last year on sale from Midway and ran it all through deer season. I never had any problems and I feel like the Strike Force has been dependable so far. I am actually going to buy one or two more pretty quick unless someone can convince me otherwise on better performance for the same price.

Reconyx is the best camera out there no doubt, but very expensive. Second choice is the Bushnell trophy cams.
