I am checking in with y'all from 31,812 feet traveling at 717 mph over Colorado en route to San Antonio International Airport. My dad left his truck in the parking lot for me and as soon as all my luggage hits the deck we are off to the hill country! Should get to the ranch about midnight.

My dad, mom, uncle, and brother made it up there today to get stuff situated for tomorrow morning. They went to all the blinds and spread a bag of apple scented corn at each. Just talked to my brother right before we pushed back from the gate and he said it rained all night last night and quit about 6:00 this morning and that everything was very soaked with water. He told me my blind was completely torn up with hog and deer tracks everywhere when he went up at 11:00 and that there wasn't a kernel of corn left over from the morning feedings.

I was already excited about tomorrow (and the next 8 days) but now I can hardly sit still on the plane!!! I think I need a jack and coke to calm me down a little bit haha.

I can't wait to check my camera tomorrow also, it has been running since the beginning of the month and I haven't seen a picture one since the beginning of September.

Hopefully all that rain will put a good spoil on all those dang acorns!!

To everyone else that is hitting the woods in the morning, good luck and BE SAFE!!! It is all for not if you or someone you love gets hurt while trying to enjoy the outdoors!

I will try and send some live updates from the blind but I am willing to wager that I will not get enough service, I normally only have a couple bars of 1x service with the occasional blurp up 3G or LTE. If not I will talk to you guys week after next, can't wait to see everyones kill photos!
