For brands, Trojan is a perennial leader. However, US Battery has come on strong in recent years and is just as good.

If you maintain and take care of them a quality set of batteries will give you full performance for 5+ years. The same can not be said for the cheaper brands.

They can be found at Costco, Batteries +. any place that sells golf carts. I have been using 2 Trojans on my Toyhauler for 10 years and I am just on my second set.

I know electric cars use batteries that are sealed; meaning they do not need to have their water levels checks or water added. Is there a battery that can go in an electric ATV that can do this? I would like to purchase a bad boy buggie or equivalent electric 4 wheeler for hunting purposes, but if I let it sit during the summer, water will evaporate from the batteries. I'm assuming I'm not the only one in this boat, but maybe I am...
