Guys,
I am in the market for a ranger. Can't decide if the 570 will work for what I need or if I should go with the 900. Will be hauling a 12 ft trailer behind it with deer corn, ranch supplies, and duck hunting decoys. Those of you who bought the 570 do you regret not getting the bigger engine?
Also, what kind of speeds are the 570 getting?
Thanks for the help.

900 all the way if towing is going to be involved.

IMO - For sure 900 over 570 if towing. If towing regularly, consider the Diesel. You will sacrifice speed for torque and a little noisier but great for towing and very fuel efficient. I sold my diesel and bought a 900, kind of miss it for the workhorse stuff but the 900 is nice.

900 is more quiet and more power is never a bad thing. I have the 900 crew and had the 800XP (not a crew) and love both are fine machines. Only complaint with the 900 crew is ground clearance.

A cool 14,000 for the 900 with basic accessories. Never priced the 570, I'd guess $10,000.

This entire post in reference to 2010 up ranger crew. I have an 800 and I've run a 570 and a 900. The 570 is a waste of money in my opinion, If it was half the price of a fullsize then I might reconsider but it is no where near the machine the large frame is in any form of use. I really like my 800, the 900 is quieter. I would buy a 900 if buying today, when I bought my 2013 800 there was no 900 yet.

I just bought an 800 single seat this fall and paid $10,250 and sold my 2008 700. I could not tell that much difference in the 2 for power. Bold handle great and carry the payload well. I would not want to pull a 12' trailer with a load on it in rough terrain though. I would think the 570 would be fine for just hunting out of and hauling a few bags of feed around. Not for pulling any trailer. 570 was around over $1000 cheaper when I bought my 800. The 570 was the midsize and my 800 is the full size. The 900 will have power steering which my 800 does not have. I did not want it.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

My 2014 2 seater 570 midsize is the tits. I paid $8800 out the door. I don't use it for much other than getting to and from the stand and rolling around the ranch checking cameras and what not. We have a scout we use for feed. If your looking to pull trailers etc, I'd most likely go 900. Mine governs out at 50, I believe the others do too. I can keep up with a 900 off the line until about 30mph. Best of all the thing fits in the bed of my pick up.

900. If going with a crew get a lift kit.
