I've been buying traditional lead acid batteries for my ATV's because I didn't want to pay a lot more for true, maintenance free, sealed batteries. Despite using a trickle charger on them, they never seem to last more than a year.

It seems battery technology has reached the point where you can get much greater value than in years past. However, don't expect to find these deals on store shelves.

I got this battery for less than $50 bucks shipped to my doorstep in three days.

Sealed battery for a great price

Dan, I disconnect mine after I'm done using it for the weekend. A standard lead acid battery last me 4 yrs. There are electronics in your bike that stay electrified even when the key is off. This creates a slow draw that destroys batteries. Install a break away switch on the ground side and your problem will be solved.

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

Dan,
I purchased the exact same battery at a nearby Batteries Plus store near my house for the same price. If it has a battery, these stores have the answer. They even built a battery pack for my electric dog collars that are far superior to the factory install.
