I would go with a Carli pin top leveling kit. It will tame the 3/4 suspension and save your kidneys,

Stay away from line-x accessory super store in Denton. They scratched my Replacement bumper and then told me to get lost.

If you can change your own oil you can probably handle spacers in the front.

This is all new to me but I cant find a complete replacement for the leaf springs..I was told to replace the entire leaf spring assembly but can only find a coupe of kits that just add a measly 1 leaf spring...The truck has 220k miles and not nearly he ride it had when I bought it...I looked the carli Pin top kit and thats pretty dang expensive..I already added new shocks last year....

Add a leaf will work but.... The ride quality will suck. You can buy complete spring sets but you will need a few other things also. If it is leaf springs front and rear you might be able to change your shackles or add blocks....

I thought the excursion had coil springs in the front.

Adding longer shackles or lift blocks is always the cheap and not the safest way. Taller blocks creates safety issues because of longer U-bolts that are not any thicker, which can bend easier. Longer shackles in the front will cause steering issues because it will affect the camber and cause bump steer along with requiring more steering input from the driver.

The best leveling kit for a vehicle with 4 leaf springs is to get new springs. They will be arched just a little more than factory, or they will have a few more leads in the pack. More leafs in the pack doesn't always equate to a rougher ride, the thickness of the leafs along with the amount of arch is what dictates the springs rate aka stiff ride.

Shackles COULD affect caster, not camber and could. Obviously it would be a much better choice to do a complete lift.....

4 Wheel Parts in Coppell. I see they do many Fords each week based on trucks in the parking lot.
