There's one built in 'Bama and a guy in Corpus is the dealer. At least he was a couple of years ago at the Texas Trophy Hunter's show in San Antonio. It was a lot more reasonable price-wise.

The guys in southern Africa use these type of trailers all the time and I guarantee you they can't spend that kind of green on one. But here in the states, folks want a fortune for this kind of stuff. If Mexico wasn't so messed up, I'd say a man could do well having a business arrangement with some welders down there building these kind of trailers.

The top is built by a company that supplies trailer to the military. I am willing to bet it is over built for most people.

M416 or m101. That's what all those trailers are based on.

We've built two to pull behind jeeps.

Yeah i have seen people get those. Some of them require a lot of work.

Some people just get the little harbor freight ones and build them up.

I am trying to figure out an ATV trailer but thats a whole different ball game

Been look at the all three for a while. Biggest problem with the military one is you will have to carry a comparable spare just for the trailer... That and the axles aren't as plush... As the commercial ones.

Ironically I've been looking for one for CO and all my western hunts for a while now.

The xventure one has lots of cool built ins. 20 gal water tank, battery power/converter, instant hot water heater etc.

There is about 10 companies out there.. Just google "off road trailers"

I've about decided to buy a 5x8 enclosed trailer and trade out the axle.

Buy adapters to change the bolt pattern. The one we pulled to moab behind one of the jeeps had jeep wheels on it.

There was a company in Dallas that made a really cool one. It was called Troubadour Trailers but they went out of business. I look for the used military trailers on gov planet. It's an auction site, you might be able to get one for less than they resell them for.

Just have one built like you want in the first place. My college roommate manufactures trailers. He can get it done if you can't find someone local to do it.
