Boy, just got around to going do the title thing at DMV on my Foreman I bought last year. $250 late fee for not doing it sooner. hammer

Anyone know if TPWD will do the same thing on a boat? Late on that one too...

It's not a problem if the vehicle is 'coming out of storage and you just want to make it legal'.

I know they will sure get you on a boat trailer! I screwed up and waited for several years to get the title put in my name. When I went down to finally get it done last year I nearly had a heart attack when I was told I had to pay over $1,300.00 in penalty fees. I tried to negotiate but they wouldn't budge an inch. I almost said screw it I will just stay illegal but ended up sucking it up and payed it. Expensive lesson learned. bang
