Have seen few south of Odessa just off caprock heading to Crane. Private land will help numbers grow...till they become PIA.

I've been in a few of them, friend of mine found and old Spanish matchlock in one on the other side of that same mountain about 50 years ago. With 3 large and active springs this old ranch had allot of early activity, the Barnett spring has an old Indian camp that's almost a half mile long in the limestone rims above it. Those caves aren't as easy to get to as they look.

Wow... What an awesome find your friend found.
I bet there's a ton of history with the 3 large active springs and caves that are located on your ranch.

You are truly blessed to own such a place sir up

I don't own the big ranch, just take care of their oil and gas, which means I'm on it daily. Been doing that going on 25 years.

do you get to hunt it?

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Yotes and feral hogs is all I hunt on the big ranch. We don't hunt or allow hunting of anything else, I can do that over at my place.

Hwy Man, I didn't realize these things had gotten down S of I20. Cool pics. I've hunted those tings quite a bit, and I'm saying (guessing) those young ones are 2-3 weeks old. When I used to hunt around Fluvanna those things could hop around those rocks very well after about a week.

Ben Miller is a friend of mine and he's got a big place up at Fluvvana, they've taken some big rams up there. These little ones were bouncing off of everything.
