with my camera.

Hunted for 5 days straight, a lot of times hard, sometimes not as diligently as I should have grin
Even though I did not kill anything I had a great time seeing and taking pictures of a lot of animals.

Passed on a real nice 10 that I judged to be only 4.5 and possibly cost me 4 cases of beer for not shooting it and that's okay, next year if conditions are right he will be a stud for somebody. Saw a lot of young bucks some will be studs if allowed, does and hogs a great hunt and time in the woods up

I have this little gold bottle of Doe wanting a bucks love urine so right before I get in the blind for the evening hunt I walk about a 100 yards into the field and poured it on the highest plant possible. Get in the blind and before I can even get seated there is a small 4 point right under my window, it leaves then 15 seconds later this guy shows up in the cut of hedges right below me.

Had some piggies make a very brief appearance at the back, they spooked quick not to be seen again.

Saw this guy 3 of the 5 days and sometimes multiple times during the day. I aged him at 4.5 and if things go right will be a real stud next year.

In these picture he is watching a real big bodied young one come out of the woods and then escorts him away.

This guy was a regular also, 2 more years for him.

Couple of other pics.

Great pics! I shoot with my camera more than my rifle these days too. Have yet to kill a deer this season, been letting them walk.

I also shoot more with a camera than a gun. Having pictures to compare for next year is a good thing.

Yes I enjoy the heck out of taking pictures of the wildlife and such!

Texted a friend a picture of the 10 point and he said that looks like a real nice buck, why didn't you shoot him?
I replied, I am not going to shoot a buck just so I can say that I shot a buck.

To each his own and I do not begrudge someone that would shoot that 10, for me it has to be a buck that gets me excited for whatever reason, if not I will shoot a doe or spike for the meat up
