Left Dallas Friday 1:30 pm traffic is a nightmare on 35 E north in Denton (avoid). weather was windy but awesome, unloaded the truck and boogied to the blind, Nada. Cruised over to Capt. Jack for a few beverages  On the way back around 7:15 saw a couple of porkers in the road and they hoofed it back under the fence to join their buddies.  Time to boogie back to the blind. Unfortunately the wind was out of the north and when I get in the blind I see 3 pigs in the field, the one 60 yards due south busted me  They  Had some other visitors in the field and one guest that just dang near came on in.   Up at 5:17 this am, coffee then more coffee and good to go  It's low visibility but I see a dark blob in the field that should not be there? Verify that it is only one hated intruder, put ear covers on, ease 270 out the window and for some weird reason its kind of blurry (Forgot to put my glasses on). Put crosshairs in the middle of the blob squeezed and down it went, then it jumped right back up and hauled azz. Led it about 3' squeezed and its down for the count. Mother nature is calling, more like yelling so I quickly head to the trailer  Okay go sneak back in the blind and maybe get lucky again? Nothing out there, and I mean nothing is out there not even the boar that I shot and looked at through the bino's for over 5 minutes on the ground  Went to where it was laying and nothing ?? I know that sucker is around so headed to the woodline and there it was about 5' in the brush, they are tough dudes or I might need a little more target practice I am guessing it is just north of 200 lbs. Any other weight guess's  I put a 6' ladder next to it, its rear hooves are even with the tip of the ladder feet.  Hauled him off to the Bone Yard.  Thank you mother nature for a wonderful 20 hours!  Left Jacksboro at 9:30 this am. Enjoy the weekend everyone and happy Mothers Day.
