Slow day in the stand, but I did have a small bunch of pigs come see me. Friend of mine has been hounding me for some pig meat, so I picked the fattest one in the bunch and shot her in da faaaaace. And her friend. And her other friend. And a cull buck, all with a .223... Awfully thick layer of fat for a wild one! I fried a few pieces up for breakfast and it was awesome.

That's their shield, protects them from things that gets past their hair. We had one killed opening weekend on our place that had almost 2 inches there, only manage 30lbs of sausage from a 200lb pig.
