Was in a rollover at 60mph due to a front tire blow out and survived albeit with broke bones. No need to drive 75 or 80. Just cruise and enjoy the ride.

A yeti would make you go faster I'm not sure with that added weight the old Cruiser could pull it.

Land Cruisers aren’t/weren’t built for top end speed. Where they ‘shine’ is off-road in 4 Low! Yours looks like a 60 Series? Nice rig! My 80 series will still top 100 mph, but it takes a while to get there. One thing about Land Cruisers…they will still be on the road when a lot of lesser vehicles are sitting in junk yards. Flint.
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

Yes mine is a FJ62. I'll be perfectly honest there's been a couple times I've wanted to drive it off a bridge. It's mostly due to my lack of knowledge about them though. As you know they are built a little different and not being a good mechanic that had only worked on a few Chevys the 3FE was a struggle for me when things went wrong. This trip alone has brought me around a lot on them. It's just tough as hell and like you said speed is not what it's built for which is fine but I've been in four wheel drive for two solid days and over 100 miles of some pretty rough stuff at times and it just does work through all of it.
I have another thread, I guess I shouldn't have started two but anyway, check it out in the open hunting section if you want to see some more pics of it.
