Just not the bang I was hoping for. I was merging onto the loop here in Lubbock and all of a sudden I hear a bang under the hood. I let out the throttle for a second and tried to accelerate again and the truck was running bad. My initial thought was the motor was done. I pulled over and made a call, after looking under the hood I found the intercooler pipe had blown. So I limped the truck to the dealership for parts and then home. Took about half an hour to swap out the pipe and I was back in business. Just wanted to thank Cody Gilbert here on the forum for walking me through it.



So this is what happens when you run too much boost in your turbo. For the record that was on a 2012 F250 6.7.

It was a Ford...surprised it didn't catch on fire!!!

Never had that happen on a 6.7 Ford. Our fleet of heavy trucks pops one or two a month on the Detroits. Our 15 liter Cummins are even worse about it. God to see you got it going and on your way.
