This is my first attempt at a food plot. The entire area is about 2 acres, pictures are from a trail cam. I'm gong to seed it with spring deer plot mix from Turner Seed after the last freeze (I hope). Hopefully the deer will like it. Before: Plowing: Burning the brush pile: Ready for seeding:

I've got a place out north of Cisco and I've planted various things over the last few years but can't grow squat. Did the soil test, fertilized per the recommendations and nothing. I'm glad somebody in Eastland county can grow something! Still love working the dirt though. I'm going to give it another shot this year.
