The following are pics of my first droptine buck, harvested in Carrizo Springs at the end of Dec. this year. I ended up doing the euro myself, and will pick out a nice piece of cedar to polish up and hang him on shortly. He was shot at about 135 yards with a 30-06, and didn't go very far.

His dental records shows him at 4.5 minimum, and possibly 5.5 - he had the same wear as a 5.5, but his body showed more of a 4.5 age. Didn't see any body injuries at all. One tooth on the right upper side of his mouth was rooted way above the others and had some strong use/decay. It might explain the drop and unique left side, perhaps.

Anyhow, it's probably my favorite buck to date - I've taken plenty more, but this has got to be the most unique so far. Still got a chance at a monster 12 I've been hunting for the last 2 years - really hope to have them hang together on the wall soon. They would be good friends!
