Question. Looking at the pics you're doing sonething right. Why are 3 of the 4 feed ports closed on the side facing the camera?

Question. Looking at the pics you're doing sonething right. Why are 3 of the 4 feed ports closed on the side facing the camera? Trying to better control amount the amount of protein these deer are fed by closing off some of the chutes we found they don't stay as long at the free choice feeder with others pushing to it. There is ample forage on the ranch as well as alfalfa feeders located near feed locations. This is the first year to close them down so much but it hasn't hurt any.

Curious...are those native Texas deer? Or did you start with a breeder buck to get that much bone?

6 yrs ago we brought in 9 bred does and then added 1 breeder with them, and a second breeder the following year. Also put out some shooters in a different pasture, that didn't give us any results. The named breeder Razorblade is 9.5 this year and still going. In Pic you'll see when he comes to feed he brings a harem Date wrong in pic, Aug 18 pic
