I would not be surprised if I ever saw coons doing this for real. Nor would I be surprised if I saw them building a ladder. They are crafty and resourceful little buggers.

It reminds me of watching people at the Golden Corral when they can't reach the spoon on the back trays, creativity to feed seems to be a common theme with mammals.

I have see trail picks with a coon standing on a hog that was laying down under a feeder before though. But that pic above is still pretty funny.

Lol! I'm not sure that couldn't be possible. It does look like it might be photo-shopped. I posted on here sometime in the past a photo of a raccoon on all fours being the base for a second standing on its hind legs on the base's back reaching up into the tube one of my protein feeders. They are persistent. I try to permanently eliminate as many as I possibly can.
