I put this together last week to go into chalet's outdoor kitchen. Cooking grate is 23"x46". The bottom doors open up to allow it to double as a fireplace to sit around on a chili night.

The angle iron in the middle of the opening is for the wood grate to use when grilling. Take it out and put the fire in the bottom for marshmallow roastin'

If you need some custom work Ramball is your guy. Couldn't find what I wanted so a few pm's, rough sketch on notebook paper and here you go. Good guy to deal with. I have a guy doing some landscape work in the backyard and he poured me a 36"x96" slab. Haven't quite decide if I'm going to use Oklahoma chopped rock or a bunch of leftover bricks I have but fixing to try my hand at masonry and build something similar to this. May put a thread in the diy section.

Can't wait to get it built, didn't think about it when he drew it up but it is definitely big enough to cook a whole pig.
