Had my dad and uncle down to do a little hog hunting over the last few days(from KS and IA). While the weather was not real cooperative, we did manage to take care of a few of them piggie.... This was despite the flat tire we changed before daylight and the "got stuck in the pig rootin" that we managed to push our way out of in the rain.. Special thanks to my son for all his help with flushing these guys out of the thick stuff. Hope we can do it again next year!

Good stuff. We got a few too. Pigs were really active. Also in Mason County, it was a slimy mess.

Mountain Lion--no problem. It was probably the cocktails typing at that point...
We jumped the large boar while in some very thick brush at about 10 yards. My uncle popped him with buckshot (they still hunt whitetail in IA with shotguns) and he ran about a hundred yards and laid down.
The other two--my son and I were working through some thick brush in a high-fence pasture and jumped these two. Dad took them out as they tried to cross a gap in the high-fence. Nice field test of the .300 BLK conversion!
