You can get a "tactical" backpack, flashlight, rifle, camo, hat, cap, ammo, scope, facepaint, gloves, binoculars, and boots.
Per Google, Tactical is defined as "relating to or constituting actions carefully planned to gain a specific MILITARY end".
Looks like the average hunter is ready for war.

Tactical is a process used in investing, negotiation, navigation etc....

Most of the gear being offered as tactical is black and offers more storage and organization to give you the ability to prepare for more scenarios that can develop while hunting. What's wrong with that?

I will add although more practical, I don't like the look of a 1911 with high night sights, rail and thread adapter. Just doesn't look right when you take away the smooth lines.

"Black" and "Ops" are also big sellers. Someone should bring out a line of Tactical Depends.

And when they go to the gun range. Full camo and face paint is needed to stalk up and hit the paper targets.

That word wears me out.

Great job by the NRA and the gun lobby getting "black guns" into the field to prove they're not just for killing humans. Along with that came everything "tactical". I'm not a fan of black guns for hunting but certainly encourage those who are. Heck, just look through the photos section here. Seems like I see more black guns than I do conventional bolt guns. Makes it very hard to infringe upon our 2nd rights when these firearms are being used for hunting and target shooting at an ever-increasing pace.

I'd pay good money to have a custom tactical backpack to go with my custom tactical rifle and custom tactical scope. Anybody have a custom tactical sling that I can get too?

Went to a grandson's birthday party this past weekend, held at a "tactical" laser tag place. Another grandson said he wants his next birthday party at the same place because this one is "tactical."

Some tactical things are better IMO not bc of their coolness but their usefulness.


511 Pants are great, they are light, tough, and comfortable and have more pockets than I could ever need but I like them.

Tactical flashlights are usually very durable, bright, and can be used in multiple platforms

I saw a Tactical folding wagon at Academy today. It was a little more expensive than the regular one.

You cynics just don't understand just how ninja my overweight mid-50s body has become. Nothing makes me laugh more than to see a guy deer hunting with an AR-15 and an operator beard.

I love the guys at the range in Full Field Cammo, Combat Boots, Drop leg holsters... You would think that the enemy was just about to drop over the sides of that cliche pit at any time.
