Wheres pidcoke, nevermind i see its not far.from gatesville...doesnt suprise me in that area.

Looks like pidcoke is close to the back areas of Ft. Hood - may give the troopers bivouacked for training a bit of a scare.

I know there were some around a little West of there in the 90s. Cool critters but can be tough on the deer and livestock when they want

The last mountain lion killed around here that I know of was killed by Morgan which is prob 50 miles from Pidcoke (as the crow flies) of course people see them and black panthers all the time but never get them on game cam.

Grew up in the Gap. Saw one once on the side of a hill between Meridan and Iredell. Was about 1986. By time I turned around, he/she was nowhere to be seen.
