I am purchasing about 10 acres that is already fenced on 3 sides. I need to put up the final perimeter fence and have no clue how much I should expect to pay if I have someone do it. My question is if the lane is cleared about how much should I expect to payfor a 5 wire fence?

No Gate.

Probably ~$2.00-2.50 a foot

Much will depend on several factors, $2-2.50 ft may do it if you already have the ends braced, land is a flat run, no "H" in the middle, or post every 100', your preference for T post weight and wire quality ectra. I'd budget $3-3.50 just to be on the safe side.

^^^^^^^^^ Agree it depends on variables. Ground conditions being one of them.

Where I live (Deep East Texas) T-posts are easily driven and end bracing erected in holes dug with a tractor mounted auger. Where I grew up (in the hill country), the ground is little of top soil mixed with mostly limestone underneath it!

Building a fence where I am now...is a breeze compared to that.
