We have cattle on our place and have decided we are going to need feeder pens. We are in the Hill Country and the rocks make it next to impossible to drive a t-post. You guys have any ideas? Cheap and Easy!!! (just like my first x-wife) Anyone have suggestions???

Use the idea above. Or,

Borrow a generator from a buddy, rent a hammer drill (cheap), buy a long 1/2" masonry bit, and use 1/2" rebar as your posts. Results in a strong pen.

I have also seen feeder pens built where took and make a round cage out of hog or cattle panels then filled them with rocks to use as "posts" to keep rest of the panels upright. I have seen pens built where they were tied to trees when ever they could.

The place we hunted in stonewall county, we just ran barbless wire around the trees. Use fence staples to attach to trunks. The pens were odd shaped but the deer didn't care.

It's cheap, it's easy and it works...cows will lose interest when they have to pick up 1 kernel at a time.
