There are a few other brands out there: Global Expedition Vehicles (wwww.globalxvehicles.com) EarthRoamer ( www.earthroamer.com) EcoRoamer ( www.ecoroamer.com) In general, these all start at half a mil, so load up those piggy banks. My pick, if money was no object, would be MB's Zetros and a butler to clean up my drool.

I saw a tv show a few years ago where a shop converted a Duece (almost like the one in the pick below). I think it was in the $150k range.

In the 1980s once when I was hunting in Colorado there was a guy that had a 4x4 van with a raised roof, actually a former ambulance. On the inside it was a camper conversion. It was his hunting vehicle that he also used to tow a mule. In the summer it was his fishing truck to pull his boat. An E350 Econoline van camper.
