shhhh you guys are hurting my odds. I think they are anticipating over 500,000 entries for about 9500 draws this year.

Ok question. So the more draws I purchase the better chance I have to draw a hunt. Like South Llano for exotics. 3 dollars a ticket. If I buy 100 tickets vs ONE ticket my chances are better? correct or??

You can only buy 1 chance for the South Llano exotic.

Ok are all of them set up this way? only one ticket per person??

In the exotic hunt there are 6 area's, you can apply for each one but only once.

No, depends on the hunt/category selection.

With the proper skills one should be able tp create a few fictitious names and apply several times.

Okay, where in the hell is the desert bighorn sheep? I understand they can't give it out each year, but to just drop it? I have preference, or bonus, or whatever they're calling them this year, points. Did they decide just to focus on the uber rich and their pecker measuring contest at the sheep "critter banquet"?

2018-'19 Lottery Hunts....some new some not so new, just same old same old for the most part...but Powderhorn's got SAMBAR on the target list. Nice going TPW for an interest gatherer.

Gotta coordinate with the BH on the Social Committments Calendar with a new potential DinL & family to get to know in the mix this year, but I'll play the TPW Lottery game again...plus go buy some scratch off's too to be able to Buy what I'd really like to hunt somewhere.

7Rmg The Texas Big Time Hunts are what you are thinking of where you can buy unlimited #'s of entries. I've always bought some scratch off's and used the proceeds...if any... to fund my entries there...still been skunked but it's more fun that way as a Bonus Hunt if you win IMO.

I wish they would list come kind of stats on the avg number of pref points needed to draw each hunt.

TB...if TPW listed the avg # of PP's, whoops LL's needed they would not sell nearly as many entry's IMO. Kinda like the TV ad's about buy this or that MALE ENHANCER cream or pill and you'll get the stunner on your arm just like that dude in the pictures did...Just Sayin', Madison Ave advertising at it's finest....but I still play the game and have for tooo long to remember and really do not like this digital system and my decades long pet gripe of Non Residents to participate on the same basis as a Resident... but also have begun to buy scratch off's to use the WINNINGS (if any) on buying a hunt from Muley Mike or sumbody if I can hide the $$'s from the Better Half.

Yes, I know what ur saying.. but I don't like to keep applying for hunts that might not realized for another 5-8 years, when I already have been applying for 7 years. With all of the multiple applications it has boosted the points needed on most quality hunts tp basically once in a lifetime.

Anybody can draw any hunt at any time.

I've been applying for 13 years now for a chance to shoot probably a mediocre speed goat on Rita Blanca and stay in a Dalhart motel. Livin' large.

I have applied for rifle deer and mule deer either sex for 12 years without being drawn, and not even the most in demand places. This year I am going to try a different approach and apply for the best places and see what happens. It actually is a bit humorous now. Maybe this will be the year.

Draws are discouraging to me but, like Sapper, I donate my money.
