I have owned my property for 30yrs and it seems almost every deer that gets 13in inside spread or bigger they all seem to be main frame 8s and finally after all these years i finally managed to kill a nice 10. but its still a main frame 8 with kickers. bucks are getting better every year but cant seem to produce a main frame 10. now i only have 47 acres so cant pen em up and only feed corn but it seems i should see a 10 now and then. Anybody else seem to produce nothing but main frame 8s?

One of the downfalls of hunting in east Texas where, for many years, if it's brown it's down. Could be that herd has been high graded over the years. Meaning the good deer were killed for years while letting the culls walk. Not on your property, just in general. And it could be that 8 point gene is most prevalent in your area.
