Does anyone have any experience handling these all steel containers? A friend of mine just gave me one that is in perfect condition if I will move it off of his former deer lease for him. What am I up against as far as weight, trailer size, umph to get it on the trailer, permits, width, etc. I need to move it from Coleman County to Kent County. This may be too much of an undertaking than I am capable of handling.

You can have it moved by a company that specializes in container moves, fairly cheap. There is a guy named Caleb Miller that you might wanna call and ask what he'd charge. I used him once and can vouch for his professionalism and affordability!

cost you around $3 grand to buy one in good condition so sounds like a great deal if you just have to move it - they really come in handy

You can't fix stupid

Very good gift from a friend. I'd have a pro, like listed above, move it. I know my limits.
