OK here is the scenario..

The area I hunt has a good mix of creek bottoms with agriculture in most directions. The largest tracts of timber around are 50-80 acres in the creek bottoms. Most people are either growing out hayfields or corn where the land is tillable. In the winter these fields are all planted in winter wheat to turn calves on. We have no cattle on our place. We have done pretty well drawing in deer in our fall harvest plots but never planted anything in the spring. My thoughts are that with all the Agriculture the deer don't need it and won't really seek it. I have a feeling there is plenty for them to eat.. am i wrong?

also we run feeders from around august through february.
