May be old news but just read this. Can't wait to see who lines up to cry about this one! I'd probably be more of a Perry fan if he'd just get a dern haircut, but this definitely helps!

I just read this article. It's awesome. I'm glad he shot that coyote, I would have done the same.

thats my governor! Can't help but think about the PR value of this coming out during his campaign against Bill White. Seems pretty smart to me.

Dont like Perry at all, but no alternatives right now.

As far as a PR move and given his history of antics, the coyote was probably tied to a tree with a leash around his neck.

I love the fact that he carries a gun and shot the coyote. I thought the article kinda made him look a little dumb with the quotes. I have heard him speak and he isn't like that all. Oh well, can't have everything I guess!

Hats off to the governor, now we just need him to get on board with Arizona on the border policies

Don't agreed with him on some things, but he is diffenatly better that most politicians. Glad to have him. Now he just needs to follow Arizona.

Not sure a coyote would have any dinner plans with a full grown lab. I have always heard that a yote will not dare (alone) attack any dog bigger than about 25 pounds due to the risk of injury.

"People shoot coyotes all the time, snakes all the time," Mange said. "We don't write reports."

The governor left the coyote where it fell.

"He became mulch," Perry said.

NICE!

While I appreciate his stance on the 2nd amendment, etc.

It will take more than shooting a coyote, in a greenbelt park while jogging, will get an "attaboy" from me.

I'm sure there are 90lb women that scare coyotes off their poodles as they pass through the greenbelts, without firing a shot.

And believe me, I've got no soft spot for coyotes,
.

...or this pistol packing Governor.

He needs to do A Lot more that cap a coyote in an urban greenbelt to get an "Attaboy"......

That's all I'm say'n.
