Is there any market for big rattlesnakes in the 5-6 foot range? I have located a den and have seen some fat rattlers. Just wondering if they have any monetary value. Feels like a waste cutting of their rattle and leaving them for the birds.
Doubt there is, just thought I'd ask the pros.

Any interest in letting a member go get some. I like the skins. Wife can make some cool stuff and this guy needs a new hat band.

Not at this time as I am in San Antonio and the snakes are in Montague county. After second thought, at $4/lb it's not worth the risk!

I wish I was closer....you should be able to find someone close to catch them..... I found this list on-line Link here... I used to sell snakes, but it has been a few years. There was a guy out of Eastland that would pay $100 for a 5' or bigger and paid $100 per inch over 6'.
When we catch them now, the rancher takes them in and has been getting the $4/lb.
