I have a 3/4 [censored] thrower and a couple of hand throwers and am considering the idea of buying an auto thrower to make it easier. What do y'all recommend and what is best bang for the buck?

Don't buy a Do All thrower. They work OK but I have had to work on mine a lot. It eats circuit boards. Nobody wants to hear it but if you buy one, you need to pony up for a commercial grade thrower. New, from about $1500 and on up to 4k. You can talk to gun ranges and see if they have any they are upgrading for sale. I have an Atlas AT250, lightly used that I'd take $1000 for. Its like this one but has the factory trailer with non pnuematic tires. http://www.atlastraps.com/AT-250_p_12.html

You "really" pay for what you get. They wear fast.

Be careful with the do all I had a regular do all thrower worked great for years and finally broke went to buy another one and the legs weren't even took it back and got a raven put it together and hooked it up and it would throw clays over and over again without touching the foot pedal called for a week and no answer finally exchanged it for another one and then they called smirk the new one seems to be working well for now atleast

I built a 5 stand range for one of the shooting clubs near me about 7 years ago and we ended up using the champion easy bird throwers. We got six and then bought two more plus a wireless remote system the next year. I bought a rabbit thrower 4 years ago and they work good. We only shoot on Sundays and run at least 15 full squads. They do need periodic maintenance + lubrication and will last longer if kept out of the elements. Their only weak spot is the firing relay, but they are easily accessible and cheap.

First, I think it's hysterical that the forum censored the 3/4 c-o-c-k. roflmao

Second, Thanks for the info. I was thinking of a thrower in the $4-500 range but apparently I need to save up longer to buy a better quality thrower.

My do all has been through 3 circuit board and is down now. Also, I can only stack clays halfway full or they start breaking in the stack. The circuit board is only $10 and easy to change. Its just a pain in the arse.

Here is a link to the thrower I just listed in the classifieds. Couple more pics in the ad.

Promatic is probably the best if the best is what you're looking for....
