Has anyone ever tried using maple syrup, brown sugar...Maplewood smoked bacon, and tried to turn it into a burger. I was sitting here at work after eating some banana maple oatmeal, and the thought came to me...That sounds so delicious to me. lol

I've made some excellent burger patties out of steak and bacon ground together. The thought of maple syrup and brown sugar on a burger isn't very appealing to me but I dont like sweet burgers (or sweets in general).

A burger could be the only thing I would eat sweet and also ribs, but not too sweet, just enough to get the taste of that maple sweetness in every bite. I might try to come up with some kind of rub that involves the two, but you're right, I bet an overload of maple syrup and brown sugar would be bad.

Maybe you could mix in jimmy deans maple flavored pan sausage with the meat at different mixture ratios?
