Got some 50/50 mix of breakfast blend (deer/pork butt) and tired of the breakfast patties and or just ground meat. What are yall doing with this stuff...I'm not very creative food wise. Thanks

assuming this is already seasoned?

add chili powder and cumin and you have chorizo - brown and mix with eggs or refried beans for tacos.

Google "breakfast casserole" and there are lots of recipes that'll come up.

brown a pound or two and mix in a block of velveeta and a can of rotel for great queso dip.

I make breakfast tacos in my microwave each morning. Put cooked sausage crumbles in a bowl, then sharp cheddar shredded cheese, and break an egg over it. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir and microwave for an additional 30 minutes. Roll onto a hot flour tortilla and you're done. I eat one each morning with a dab of home made salsa.

Frijoles, fresh fried egg, shredded cheese, pico and salsa verde on a flour tortilla. My breakfast taco. Edit your post Bill, you're burning breakfast and you ain't got a smoke detector.

Try it with marinara over pasta. It's great that way. So are links.

You don't have to limit your use to breakfast.

The casserole was great. The best part was the kids ate it up. They are a little reluctant to eat deer meat/sausage so I was happy to see them eat it. Lots of good ideas here.

Yes, your right. I have 5 kids- 2of the 4 girls will eat it along with my son; I have to trick the other 2 girls. The one real skeptical one asked what the meat was...I told her sausage (just not deer sausage).

They ate it with no problems what so ever.

Only thing is most places are very proud of Sage spice. Need to look into growing and drying my own.
