What's the best container or way to freeze chili so that you don't get ice crystals? Made waaaay to much.

I use quart freezer bags and flatten it out and work the air out, works great and easy to thaw out in hot water. food

I do the same thing a lot with beans using gallon bags. Works great.

I made up a big pot of chili a while back and took the extra and put in zip lock bags. I like doing it that way as we can figure just enough in a bag for the wife and I for another meal down the road. Easy to defrost and freezes up flat so you can stack them in the freezer and save space.
