We are headed down to Kingsville this weekend, so I am looking for recommendations for Mexican, BBQ and burger places.

If you have time, go to the Kings Inn in Riveria a little past Kingsville but great seafood and restaurant.

This reminds me of a time we were quail hunting 10 miles west of Falferrias. We fell into a bottle of whiskey and decided that the Kings Inn was close. I was passed out in the back seat when we got back to our gate. The gate was shared by the KBR lease. I awoke looking at a KBR truck backed up to a Border patrol truck. They were passing what looked like five pound sugar bags from one truck to another. Someone in our ride asked if we could help. Someone I in one of the other trucks pointed a gun and said you better get out of here. I called and reported it when I got back home. I was asked if I got a license number. I replied duh.

Go to Corpus. The original WB is there. Good seafood too. Where is the "good seafood"? Not much good in Kingsville buddy. Kings inn is OK, same food in Odem and in Corpus.
