Take 114west to 287, about ten miles. Go left on 278 towards Fort Worth. First exit will be 287 bidness. Take it go straight past Exxon and half mile on right. Catfish Grill. Great catfish, other food looks good too. Can't get past the catfish.

Take 114 further west (zig zag north on 287) and there will be Tater Junction on left at 518 light. Good home cooking. Continue west on 114 to Boyd, 4 miles. Freedom Fried Burgers on the right side of the 'square' and Go Go Gumbo on the left. That is legendary good food there but pricey.

Good food out here but it's spread around.

While I can agree with Cast, you can head east on 114 and go to downtown Roanoke...its a little closer. There is a decent Mexican place, also Italian. Babe's chicken house. Hard 8 bbq....that pretty much covers the Texas food spectrum.
