I was wondering if anyone (amateur or pro) in the RGV regularly trains retrievers? I have a yellow lab male and often train him around McAllen and South Padre Island. If so, please contact me and perhaps we can meet for some training sessions.
John

Hi guys. I just relocated from Wisconsin and was a member of a local HRC where I did most of my training. I have a 1 year old female chocolate lab that I am working to get ready for her Senior tests. Having a hard time finding trainers or clubs here in the valley. Can you share some suggestions or links?

Thanks
Paul

Darrell Layman trained a gsp for me. He is a good guy that won a lot of field trials. He has a nice place in Pearsall. He trains a lot of different dogs, but is a retriever man by trade. You might call him. 573-820-1729

Good luck man.

I've not used him--he is a retriever guy, I'm not. Met him at a snake training session.
