Probably a stupid question.
One of my labs is not ecollar conditioned yet. Will taking him to a snake avoidance clinic cause any issues when we do the ecollar with him?

Not a stupid question at all.
I'll take a Black Female every time.

he's a little over two. I just haven't had a chance to get him conditioned yet.

As long as the snake training is from a professional that knows what they are doing, you should be fine with a 2 y/o dog. I would make sure that the trainer knows that your dog is not collar conditioned, but they train dogs all the time that aren't conditioned. If the pup was under about 8 months, I would suggest maybe holding off and just making sure he doesn't get in any snaky situations this season, but a 2 y/o will be fine on the training. Hopefully one of the pros will weigh in on this.

I asked Wayne and he said my 7 month old would be fine. I also asked if I should get her used to wearing an e collar before hand and he said that it wouldn't be necessary.

You'll be fine. As long as you're not snake proofing while you're collar conditioning your dog.

Not a dumb question at all. I understand your concern. We will not have an issue the day of the training nor during conditioning later.
