I have an offer to lease 300 acre high fence in webb co . Ranch has exotics ( elk, axis, black bucks , rams ,sitka and white tail) what would be a good price for yearly lease .

With that variety I could easily see a rancher trying to pull $25-30k.

That many animals on such small acreage will have a large feed bill accompanying it.

So if i can get the lease for 5000 would be good deal

Is there a demand to hunt exotics

What would you be allowed to harvest? How many? Year around access? Place to stay? How much are the animals you take going to cost you? Are you the only one on the property?

Dont have all the details down going to look at the place thursday no light or water just a storage trailer place hasnt been hunted for 5 years want to make an offer for everything in there and its a year lease

If owner has had all those critters on that lil place w/o harvest for 5 years.....either its just a handful of critters or dude owns a feed store.

$5K sounds to good to be true and not hunted for 5 years with that list of exotics. Radar up but good luck.

Hunter3007, ask the owner if he has any kill or trophy fees to anything you shoot. Better to know that up front before money gets exchanged.

Update owner wants 1800 for any animal killed . Looked at the ranch no camp or elec. water , saw a few axis doe , 5 whitetail bucks young but with good mass , 2 young elks .

I bet he does want $1800 per animal....Pass
