Looking to fill 1, maybe 2 spots on a 6800 acre low fence lease in Webb County. Year round access, 2 houses and multiple barns for storage. Tons of deer, hogs, javalinas, ducks, quail, dove, everything. We are looking for management minded hunters wanting to raise book deer in South Texas. Great group of people on the ranch, family oriented, and lots of fun. We have a total of 8 spots on 6800 acres. Each spot is $12,500 yearly plus utilities and feed (corn and protein). We are feeding double down protein, and managing the herd to grow the biggest deer possible. This past year the previous hunters saw lots of 140-150 class deer and a 170 class 12. We flew it a couple weeks ago and saw tons of deer, and a lot of HIGH potential 3-5 year old bucks. We are hoping to have a awesome 16-17 season and many more to come. We are looking for some like minded hunters with the intention of securing a long term lease raising big deer. Also under MLD and has about 10-15 nice stock tanks stocked with bass and catfish.

You can reach me by pm or text me at 830-998-0374.

The price tag is probably keeping a few away. Not saying it's not justified but is pricey for many..

Pricing like that is what is forcing the common guy out of hunting. We enjoy the sport of hunting too but lease pricing greed is killing us. There is no way to justify the ridiculous price of leases now days. mad

I guess you could just buy 6800 acres in Webb County and start leasing it out confused2
Nothing wrong with the price he is asking for that area. If you are wanting to kill big deer every year and willing to pay the price then it is a great price. Lot more to a deer lease than just deer also.

Once again supply and demand. Sounds like a great lease and reasonable for the area. Fair market value is what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller

Sounds like a great place. I'm sure some well deserved person will take it.

3 people showed up this weekend. Filled last 3 spots. Thanks. As far as overpriced, find me a good south Texas lease that isn't shot out, ran by good people, and overcrowded for cheaper.

Also as far as lease price goes, I agree that it's expensive, there's a good chance I'll never be able to afford a lease like that (my dad is on the lease and I'm hunting with him), but that's the going rate in good south Texas deer country. Last year we payed 11k and didn't fire a shot, lease was full of promises, ending up with 10 people on 3000 acres with no deer and morons running it. My dad has been looking for about 15 years to secure a good place with potential, good land owner, and a good group, and this place shows to fit all of the above. I wish it wasn't so expensive down there, but it is, of course you can find cheaper places, but there's a reason they're cheap. Hell if it had the money I'd own a place down there and raise big native deer and give away hunts to family that couldn't afford to hunt down there because I love the sport and hate how much money has to be involved. But this is the real word, and unless your willing to go to Mexico, you're gonna pay big money to hunt good south Texas brush country, not to mention have year round access, hunt any other game out there, and basically have the same access as owning it.
