While I enjoy reading the various threads on this forum, I joined primarily to see if anyone had any recommendations for deer day leases as I am hoping to find something for next year, 2015. I grew up in Caldwell. Texas but have lived in Maine for the majority of my life, Hunted some near Caldwell last year, but want to bring a couple of my Maine hunting buddies down next year and both hunt and show them some of Texas. I have written the Winkle ranch in Llano for info, as that is about the only day operation I could pin down. If any of you have any suggestions, I'd be appreciative for your input. Note, I'm not interested in High fence canned hunts, but prefer fair chase with the opportunity or possibility to at least harvest a minimum. I have family in Austin, so, the hill country would be preferred, but not limited to....
