Anyone ever heard of it? Out in the Hico/Iredell area. Gated community, 5 acer homesites for about 60K, right now they're doing 5 acers and a barndominium for 110K. We had dinner tonight with the family and my uncle said he has been hearing about it and asked if any of us had heard of it. He's about to retire and looking for a few acres to get out of town on. I was just seeing if any of you wonderful people have any experience with places like this, or even better this particular one. I have not heard of this particular place, but I have heard of very similar type subdivisions. Most of the ones I have seen are a barndominium "shell", meaning you would have to finish out the interior to your own liking and your own pocketbook.

Me too on the Barndominium and I've seen some where it's another 100,000 after the shell.

Me too on the Barndominium and I've seen some where it's another 100,000 after the shell. This, $50k sounds like the shell i know some people that did one and had granite, custom cabinets etc and they were north of $250k

I have relatives in Iredell. Not a lot to do around there. Looks like a pretty ranch though. I know of an area closer to Bluff dale, you may be interested in. Cheaper and more amenities. Beautiful area too...Pm sent.
