I just acquired a new lease.... without giving out the specifics, it is Northwest of Childress in prime country for large trophy whitetails.
It is 640 acres and has a large food plot.
Question: How many hunters will it support and about how much should each hunter pay?

$8 an acre tops of it is good terrain and no more than two hunters.

Max like 3 maybe 4 depending on the amount of cover but really 2 is gonna be ideal. You would probably expect to pay around 2000-2500 per gun.

Depends on the cover. After hunting up there for a while, I'd say 2 hunters would be ideal. Price depends on amenities as well, such as water and elec. My last place up there has neither, I paid about $5/acre.

Honestly there is only room for two guys.
But don't expect to shoot a mature buck every year.
Go back to 2011 and the drought wiped out a whole generation.
I have ranches that are heavily managed and fed yr round and we only take a buck per 1000 acres.
